IHDA Event Policy
IHDA event
- IHDA does all the work
- IHDA accepts all financial responsibility and any
profits go to IHDA
- IHDA pays to have access to a site and to rent stock
- IHDA policies all apply and IHDA insurance will cover
the event
IHDA co-sponsored event
- Event holder does all the work
- Event holder accepts all financial responsibility and
any profits go to the event holder
- IHDA policy regarding injured or dead stock will be in
effect
- Event holder agrees to abide by all IHDA policies and
will be covered by IHDA insurance
- IHDA will supply $100 toward publicity and other
expenses. This amount will be $75 for 2006, $50 for 2007, $25 for 2008 and
phased out in 2009.
- IHDA will post information about the event including
premiums on its website
- Event holder sets all charges and agrees to give IHDA
members a $5 deduction for clinics and trial entries and a similar deduction
for runs during fun days. Similarly, a provision will be made for junior
members to participate at a reduced price (half price for clinics and trials,
to be determined for fun days). Number of junior members may be limited.
The $5 deduction will be per overall event (not each day)
unless the event holder wants to make it more generous (e.g., per day or per
entry).
Procedure
1.
Event is proposed to the IHDA president
2.
IHDA president negotiates conditions (above or may be modified to suit
circumstances)
3.
IHDA president presents proposed events to board.
4.
A simple majority vote of the board is required for the event to be
approved
