IHDA Ranch Trials & Fun Day

(Need not be an IHDA member to compete)

 

Saturday August 30th & 31st, 2008

 

Open Handlers meeting 8:45

Sheep Trial begins 9:00 pm

Sheep :  Open - Pro/Novice – Novice/Beginner

 

Duck Trial begins no earlier then 3:00 pm

Ducks :  Open – Pro/Novice – Novice/Beginner

 

Point/Time Ranch Trials with sheep and ducks.  Course including but not limited to ranch style obstacles

such as:  sorting chutes, bridge, trailer loading, and other obstacles set in a well shaded pasture with

adjoining pens and alleys.

 

 

$25.00 Entry Fee per Sheep Class

$15.00 Entry Fee per Duck Class

($5.00 overall discount for IHDA Members)

Free Will Donation Fun Day – Sunday

(50% of donations to IHDA - 50% for Stock Contractor)

Livestock – Ducks and Sheep

-Trophy Collar awarded to class winners-

 

We will payback 1 slot for every 3 entries in each class

Classes will be run in the following order with handlers meeting before each class except Beginner:

Open  -  Pro/Novice  - Novice  -  Beginner

(Beginner class handlers will meet with the Novice class, beginner class will run concurrently with the Novice class)

Class Guidelines

  • Open – Seasoned handlers with seasoned dogs
  • Pro/Novice – Seasoned handlers or dogs with inexperienced dogs or handlers
  • Novice – Inexperienced handlers with inexperienced dogs
  • Beginner Class – First year handlers with inexperienced dogs

Potluck Lunch bring a dish to pass for lunch, we will also have hot dogs, soda &, water available or bring your own, bring lawn

In consideration that my dog and I will be participating in the Stock Dog Ranch Trial, I understand that I am

responsible for any costs incurred as a result of damages caused by me, my family, or my dogs to the facilities,

animals, or people.  I hereby agree that in the event of personal injury, or damage to my property or animals, I

will not hold Wayne Bamber, IHDA, Trial Sponsors, stock handlers, helpers, or other property owners responsible.
