Iowa Herding Dog Assoc. Annual Meeting

All Breeds and Levels of herding dogs* and handlers welcome

*Leashed and Current on Vaccinations

Schedule of Events

9 am – noon:

· Herding Practice. At least 3 practice areas will be available.

· Take a tour through our vineyard in between practice sessions.

· If anyone is interested, agility equipment will be available.

12:-12:30pm Potluck Lunch

· Bring your favorite dish, dessert or appetizer

· Beef burgers, buns, condiments, plates, and silverware will be provided.

12:30pm-2:00pm

· IHDA Annual Meeting, awards and elections

2:00 until dark

· Open Practice

Fees: $15.00 first dog, $10.00 additional dog ($5.00 discount for IHDA members)

Facilities: 3-acre rectangle field, two smaller fields for less experienced dogs and handlers and a round pen.

We are located 3 miles east of the Milo, Iowa.

Directions:

· Coming from Milo, take G58 East following the curve south, 1^st house on left.

· Coming from the north east, take I-80 to Hwy 14 south to Hwy 92, west to S-31, turn left or south to first stop sign, turn left, 1^st white house on the left.

· Coming from the North west, take Hwy 65/69 through Indianola, continue south until 65/69 split, then turn left on 65 toward Milo, take G58 east into Milo, continue on G58 3 miles, follow the curve going south, 1^st white house on the left.

· Coming from the South, take the 69 north, turn right on 65 toward Milo, take G58 east into Milo, continue on G58 3 miles, follow the curve going south, 1^st white house on the left.
