Herding Events
Practice and Lesson Information
Herding Practices and assistance are available by appointment every day of the week as our schedule allows. We also offer private lessons at a rate of $25 per lesson, lessons are approximately 1/2 hour. We encourage students to participate in our Introduction to Herding Group Lesson Series before booking a private lesson, the series is offered intermittently through out the year at a cost of $75.00 a dog for the entire 4 week series. Stock charges are based on a per dog/handler bases, $15.00 for the first dog, $10.00 for each additional dogs. Runs are unlimited as time and stock permits. Our goal is to provide an environment for learning, run time is based on achievement not a clock.
Our training program and philosophies are based on Marc Christopher's training program, focusing on correct practice and obedience. We are lucky to have Marc drop in intermittently for private lessons and seminars helping us to further improve and hone our stock, stock dog training and handling skills.
